All forms of Corporate and Business Law, including Formation/Incorporation of C-Corps, S-Corps, LLCs, Partnerships, Non-Profit 501(c)(3) entities, Buy-Sell Agreements, Stock Purchase Agreements, Breach of Contract and Shareholder Disputes.
We handle all manner of real estate transactions, including sales of real property, loan and financing agreements, easement agreements, well agreements, subdivision, parcel maps, lot line adjustments, Williamson Act matters, deeds and deeds of trust, quitclaim deeds, property tax reassessment, and gifting of real property to name a few. We also handle real estate litigation. A sample of the cases we take includes: buyer-seller disputes, easement disputes, zoning and planning disputes with governmental authorities, environmental disputes with regulatory agencies, water rights disputes, trespass cases, disputes with property managers, and disputes involving real estate brokers and agents (in which we typically, though not always, represent the broker/agent).
Landlord-Tenant Law, with a focus on representing Landlords. We prepare lease agreements for residential, commercial, agricultural and industrial land, and for vacation rentals. We have also handled a wide variety of eviction proceedings—residential, commercial, squatters, and frequently defend landlords against tenant counter-claims.
We represent creditors only in their efforts to collect from debtors in bankruptcy proceedings.
Many of the cases we take do not fall neatly into any of the categories listed above. When a client has been wronged or cheated, we are always willing to listen and offer our assistance where appropriate. We do not take family law (divorce/child custody) cases or debtor bankruptcy cases, and seldom handle personal injury or criminal defense cases ; however, please do not hesitate to contact us for a referral to attorneys who do handle the kinds of cases we do not take.
